Livewire

Livewire! is now available, and wraps up my ‘09 releases. It’s also the final title in the trilogy of DC Comics titles I’ve been working on that involve super villainesses.
Livewire (a.k.a. Leslie Willis) is probably my favorite of the trio. She’s sassy and full of witty insults, mostly aimed at Superman.

Eek and Ack — Book Three

I’ve got it, the plot line for book three in the Eek and Ack series: The devious duo will be the cause for Pluto losing its planetary status. And just so you know, it recently was demoted to a dwarf planet after being considered the ninth planet in our solar system for the past 75 [...]

Ooze Slingers from Outer Space

This being my second graphic novel, I’ve come to realize the importance of visualizing a story. People aren’t just going to read a graphic novel; they’re going to see it. The illustrations play as important of a role in the telling as the text, [...]

Farms ABC

Farms ABC, my fifth ABC book with Capstone Press, was released earlier this spring.
My favorite letter from the book was “L is for Lamb.
“Baaaa. Where’s my maaaa?”
This lamb wants to know
When full grown, sheep
are sheared for their wool.
Yeah, a little silly, I know, but I really liked the slant rhyme of “know” and “wool”.
